Here at Southwark Council, we are very proud of what we have already achieved in meeting our strategic objective to make Southwark a fairer place for all, whilst acknowledging there is still more for us to do to make Southwark an even greater place to live, work, learn and visit. As part of this we are in the process of modernising the way in which we deliver our services to our residents, communities, partners, staff, volunteers, businesses and visitors in order to continue to improve how we do things.
In leading the IT and Digital Services for the Council, I both recognise, and am passionate about, the role which technology and digital innovation can play in supporting and driving delivery of our vision and wider corporate strategy. Equally ensuring that we co-design digitally enabled services with partners, colleagues and residents and also learn from other councils is a key component of delivering services fit for Southwark’s future.
Our new Head of Digital Delivery will be a key member of my Leadership Team, working with a great team and working in partnership with our shared ICT service with Brent and Lewisham.
